The Beach House at Manafaru sits at the most northerly tip of the Maldives, in the pristine, lagoon-ringed Haa Alifu Atoll, little explored by foreigners and totally un-polluted by the noise of passing speedboats. What many people don’t know is that that further north you go, the more lush and green the islands become. So while Manafaru is fringed by those exquisite, powder-white beaches for which the Maldives are famous, it also has a jungle-filled interior ripe for exploration.
On touching down at Male International Airport, a Beach House representative will be there to greet you. They will escort you to your domestic transfer, a 45-minute plane-hop over a turquoise Indian Ocean scattered with tiny jewel-like islands, followed by a 45-minute speedboat ride to your private island idyll.
We believe the little things in life are the most important ones. That’s why we have a Sorbet Butler who circulates round both the infiniti and Amazon pools dispensing refreshing sorbet. We also have two additional private islands that can be used for intimate dinners or for jet-skiers so they do not disturb other guests. Why not touch the treetops on the bungee trampolines, available to guests of all ages? We’d also love to organize visits to neighboring islands. This part of the Maldives has great cultural significance. It is said that if you visit nearby Utheem Palace and make a wish, it will come true.
Dining
Four Corners: As its name suggests, the all-day Four Corners restaurant offers cuisine from around the world, cooked using the finest local ingredients. Feast on ‘Indian Ocean King Scallops terrine with Gazpacho Sorbet’one day and a good old fashioned hamburger the next. You can also choose between buffet and a la carte.
Saffron: Dining locations don’t get much more romantic than the cutting-edge, over-water Asian-fusion restaurant Saffron which specializes in local delicacies such as ‘Confit of Duck Salad wrapped in betel leaf’ with wider Asian influences.
Medium Rare: Exquisite fresh local lobster, melt-in-your-mouth Black Wagyu steaks and fresh line caught fish are all the rage at Medium Rare, where food is considered art and everything is prepared with great ceremony right in front of you, in the central open kitchen.
Salt Water: Stargaze from a cushion-stuffed hammock suspended over the edge of the deck at the Beach House’s sultry Salt Water bar. Let the sound of live acoustic music wash over and admit you’re finally succumbing to the utter tranquility of your surroundings.
Infiniti: The low-key Maldivian Infiniti Bar has a deck and swimming pool that extends lazily over the water and an utterly chilled bare-foot luxury vibe to match.
Amazon: Imagine a fairytale pool of clear water in a rainforest and you’ll begin to understand the vibe at Amazon, a traditional Maldivian-style bar. The pool, fed by a waterfall which gurgles playfully away in the background, has submerged seating and a number of water-jets.
The Cellar: Wine connoisseurs will rejoice at the resort’s well-stocked wine cellar and its world-class, infinitely knowledgeable sommelier. If you’d like, we can arrange a whole dinner for you in the cellar. SPA
Shui: Shui is an exquisite, luxurious escape, hidden away at the island’s heart in the midst of virgin vegetation, where only the sounds of nature can be heard. Dotted intermittently throughout the foliage and joined by a series of small bridges are the five elements treatment villas, Ayurvedic villas, Thai yoga and Japanese Shiatsu gazebos, a manicure & pedicure room and a juice bar counter.

Diving
At The Beach Housae at Manafaru Maldives our 5 Star PADI Dive Centre has a team of experts offering a wide range of PADI-certified dive programs for adults and children as young as 8 years old, including a complimentary daily orientation dive. A PADI Open Water Dive qualification can be achieved during a one-week stay. “Bubblemaker” lessons for younger kids and Discover Scuba programs for pre-teens and older are also available.
Two new Bauer Verticus compressors and a separate Nitrox compressor make it possible to dive unlimited, with either Air or Nitrox and our variety of programs include Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water license up to Assistant Instructor and a variety of specialty courses, including Nitrox, Digital under Water Photography, Videography, Underwater scooter and Re-breather courses. Giving the opportunity to the beginners and the experienced divers to enrich their knowledge and improve their diving skills.
Water sports
Our VDWS certified Water sports school ‘Blue’ offers complimentary non-motorized water sports to all guests. A selection of various high class quality equipments are available, such as a large variety of wind surfing boards, catamarans and canoes.
Qualified instructors are available for beginners and more experienced enthusiasts alike.
Land sports
At the Beach House we feel you can do as little or as much as you like and our range of activities is extensive offering outdoor badminton, tennis court, beach volleyball, pool and billiard table, table tennis and a trampoline.
Excursions
Our excursions are offered both on traditional Maldivian Luxury Dhoni and speed boat, featuring visits to local and cultural nearby inhabited islands & Traditional Maldivian hand line fishing, snorkeling tutorials and guides. The resort also boats two private islands for more intimate experiences such as private island dining & castaway experience.
Fitness
A fully equipped gymnasium with a selection of high-end equipments designed to tone, shape and develop muscle tissue are available at The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives.
Our recreation staff will be available to offer a helping hand for anybody who using our Gym.
If you are interested in one of our Yoga and Meditation sessions with our certified Yoga Guru you can join him during sun set or sunrise and reap the benefits such as lowering ones blood pressure, improving slumber, or simply relieve overall stress levels.
Gentlemen’s Retreat
Some say the Maldives is a destination that appeals more to women than men. Indeed at many resorts, facilities seem to be geared more towards women. We would like to redress the balance. Gentlemen’s Retreat is a club house/retreat designed primarily with men in mind.
Inside, you will find a 50 LCD TV, relaxing chairs, games consoles (Wii game and PS 3), a virtual golf simulator which allows you sample some of the world’s best eighteen-hole golf courses from the comfort of your Maldivian haven.
For Kids
We want to keep everyone happy and to allow guests of all ages to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. Our kid’s club has its own private pool, a games room and an extensive activity programs including turtle monitoring during the nesting season.
Babysitting services are provided for children above 3 years old.
Turtle Kids Club operates from 9 am until 6 pm.
Turtle Club accepts children aged 3 to 12 years. Children below 3 years old need to be accompanied by one of the parents.
